Overrated

I'm so sorry I've been MIA. I was so busy this week. Isn't it crazy how school can stress you out even in the middle of summer? Anyways, the weather has been so depressing in L.A. lately. While the east coast has been in the hundreds we've had a bit of rain. But I took advantage of the weather and wore this outfit to work and then out to eat with my best friend on Friday. There's something about black that just makes you look put together. I admit I usually just wear jeans, a tshirt, and flip flops to work because I need to be comfortable. My boss asked if I was going anywhere special when I got to work. I said no and she replied, "It must be the black". Haha

I wore the same aldo flats from last week. They're a bit Chanel-esque, no?
Meet my puppy. His name is Pepper :)

This weekend I dined at some of the most overrated places.

First: Chipotle

I had a chicken burrito. It was okay. I got it without the cilantro lime rice because I HATE it. But I got a water cup without asking and filled it with lemonade. Score. Does anyone actually get that disgusting water from the soda machines? No. You just see it as a free small drink! :)
But I have to admit I go to Chipotle just for the chips. They are amazing. They have just the right amount of lime flavor.

My best friend, Lauren and I had a lovely 3 hour long conversation over dinner. We caught up and reminisced over the high school days. And most importantly, she convinced me that this is supposed to be a Mayan eating a burrito! I totally see it now.

Second: Pinkberry
Yeah, it's pretty good. But I don't see how people become addicted. As you can see I prefer mine without toppings. I'd just rather not have kiwis on my chocolate, thank you.

Third: Tito's Tacos
On Saturday I passed by Tito's on my way to see Despicable Me with my father. We decided to eat here after the movie. I grew up in the area and every time I passed by there would be a line around the corner. I thought it would be awesome. It wasn't. It was kind of bland and the beef was the texture of wet cardboard. If you are in L.A. on the west side and want some good mexican minus the long line go to Campos.

Note: I'm suffering from a bad breakout this week as well. I cropped out my head because my vanity told me to.
